Subway Series Menu has finally enjoyed the softest sailing regarding its importance among customers. Per NPR, the brand has fought concerns over whether its tuna was real, observed by an Irish court claiming that its bread isn’t breaded (via The Guardian). The range of carbohydrates and sugar in their “bread” is so tall that it technically allows as cake via Eater. Yikes. This was a future for the sandwich franchise to trade with, and when you pair all of this lawful drama with an international pandemic, it’s no wonder that Subway has – according to QSR – dropped from being the 2nd biggest fast food cafe chain down to the 8th.
Subway has yet to enjoy the softest sailing about its importance among consumers. Per NPR, the brand has fought concerns over whether its tuna was actual, followed by an Irish court claiming that its bread isn’t breaded (via The Guardian). The range of carbohydrates and sugar in their “bread” is so tall that it technically allows as cake via Eater. Yikes. This was a future for the sandwich franchise to deal with. When you pair all of this permitted drama with an international pandemic, it’s no surprise that Subway has, according to QSR, dropped from living the 2nd biggest fast-food restaurant chain down to the 8th.
The chain replied with a reinvention of sorts with their new Subway Series menu. With the knowledge that their old faithful sandwich menu wouldn’t hold them afloat, Subway has tried other things like counting pizza to their roster, which met with mild enthusiasm from sandwich eaters. They’re belatedly attempting to rise out of the contest in this menu section, which features developer sandwiches geared toward helping picky palates and those wishing for something more compelling. But has it reached the job? With little fanfare upon the new menu rollout, the sandwiches are worthy, and Subway is still Subway. If you love Subway, then you’ll adore its most delinquent offerings. And if you don’t but still find yourself inside one of their stores, perhaps you’ll find a Subway Series sandwich that holds a bit of expectancy for you.
Turkey Cali Club

#Turkey Cali Club
As an ingredient, Garlic piques people’s interest. Shout the word Garlic in your promotion, and the groups will come and test what you submit. That was probably Subway’s approach when they counted the Great Garlic on their menu. This sandwich has chicken and bacon, along with provolone cheese and veggies. But the principal of the sandwich is the lightly roasted garlic aioli dressing. The whole sandwich is toasted and changes into a saucy, cheesy horror that some find tasty and others not. As stated by Dane Rivera of Uproxx, “This is one of the most off-putting sandwiches I’ve ever consumed in my life, and no, I’m not one of those strange people that oppose Garlic. I love Garlic, but nothing loves Garlic this greatly.” So there’s that.
One of the causes the Great Garlic ends up requiring modification is that the garlic aioli sauce is unjust. It was keeping something else in a sandwich if you can taste anything else. Since so many other elements in this sandwich are tasty, the trick to loving it is to call it a bit more custom than the standard menu formula. Ask for light garlic aioli dressing, or bring it on the side. When the dressing is lightened up, it’s a solid sandwich, but it’s down on our list due to its oppressive chaos when requested.
The Monster

#Great Garlic
As one might expect from the name, the Monster is a big sandwich. It contains a great steak topped with green bell peppers, red onion, bacon, and ranch dressing. It is all melted together with shredded cheddar cheese. The Monster comes with double the amount of cheese than other sandwiches, which is a nice perk since Subway’s cheese tends to be rather bland and uninteresting. Unfortunately, doubling it up doesn’t add any flavour, which is why The Monster still ranks pretty low on our list.
For what it is, customers tend to order it without any customizations, which means the ingredient combo is working out for Subway’s pocketbook. According to Restaurant Business Online, Subway reported in its test markets that over 50% of those ordering the Subway Series sandwiches (including The Monster) do so as-is. This is precisely what Subway is aiming for. One of Subway’s downfalls is how easy it is to customize its offerings. After years of touting an abundance of fresh ingredients, people don’t like their sandwiches as much when they try wacky additions and removals that they assumed would taste good. Fancy menu sandwiches like The Monster eliminate this risk and leave people with a decent sandwich.
Since this sandwich is so big and heavy in taste, grab a foot long and share with a friend, or pick a lighter side like soup or baked chips instead of the heavily salted and flavoured options.
The Boss

#The Boss
The Boss is an amped-up version of Subway’s classic meatball sub. According to Savespree, Subway will provide you with your selection of bread, though Italian Herb and Cheese is positively recommended. The rest of the sandwich has meatballs coated in marinara sauce, pepperoni, mozzarella, and parmesan cheese. While this is a sandwich for the person on a diet, it’s pretty tasty. It’s ranked in the centre of the list because it’s dirty and fattening, and nobody in it is an entirely high rate.
The Boss is warm, relaxing, and a guilty pleasure. It’s also a frugal option for a strong sandwich, costing $6.19 for a six-inch and $12.59 for a footlong at the time of the magazine. This sandwich and the remainder of the Subway Series are known for mobile orders. Subway usually has BOGO deals and other promo codes for favourite sandwiches like The Boss. If you’re examining to cut calories — although we aren’t sure how practical that is about a sandwich with sauce-covered cheesy meatballs — The Boss also tastes amazing on Subway’s artisan flatbread.

History Of Subway
In 1965, Bridgeport, Connecticut, was the foremost place for Subway. Fred DeLuca, a young man, extended the store with Dr. Pete Buck. The actual name of the store was “Pete’s Super Submarines.” He had originally planned to open it to make sufficient money to pay for school. However, he couldn’t have expected the win that Subway would want.
One year later, the two locations opened. Then, Buck and DeLuca formed Doctors Associates Inc. to support franchising the chain. In 1968, the iconic Subway name was altered to Subway, and the electric yellow logo was presented. In 1974, the first franchise spread in Connecticut.
